API pH Up – pH Raiser for Freshwater Aquariums
API pH Up is a liquid formula that safely increases pH in freshwater aquariums by neutralising acidic substances and making the water more alkaline. Maintaining proper pH levels promotes stronger fish health, improved colouration, breeding, and disease resistance.
Formulated without phosphates, pH Up is safe for use with live plants and helps create balanced water conditions ideal for a wide range of tropical fish.

Ideal pH ranges for common species:
• Community aquariums: 7.0
• Livebearers (mollies, swordtails): 7.0–7.2
• Acid-loving fish (angelfish, tetras): 6.5–6.8
Directions:
• Test pH using an API pH Test Kit
• Add 2.5ml (½ tsp) per 25 U.S. gallons (approx. 95L)
• For larger tanks, add 5ml (1 tsp) per 50 U.S. gallons
• Wait and re-test before repeating dose
• Do not adjust pH more than 0.2 units in 24 hours
Tip: A partial water change (10–15%) can also help reduce acidity and stabilise pH levels.
