Seachem Flourish Excel™ is a liquid source of organic carbon, essential for healthy plant growth in freshwater planted aquariums. Designed as an alternative or complement to CO₂ injection, it provides a bioavailable form of carbon that plants can readily use in photosynthesis.
Ideal for low-tech setups or where CO₂ injection is limited, Flourish Excel™ also helps improve iron uptake by promoting the more accessible ferrous form of iron (Fe²⁺).

Why Use It?
Flourish Excel™ delivers structurally similar compounds to photosynthetic intermediates, bypassing the need for traditional CO₂. This makes it easier for plants to build strong, healthy carbon chains critical for growth.
Directions for Use:
• On initial use or after large water changes (>40%):
Add 5mL per 40L of water
• Daily or every other day:
Add 5mL per 200L of water
• For small tanks: each cap thread ≈ 1mL
• Dosing can be slowly increased in high-growth setups
