Dog Day Care Timaru – Casual Booking

This casual day care option is perfect if your dog just needs the occasional day out. Whether you're running errands, working long hours, or your dog simply needs some extra stimulation, we've got you covered.

Price: $40 per dog, per day

Please phone us first on 03 684 7006 to check we have a spot available before booking. Spaces are limited, and bookings are essential.

New to us? If your dog hasn’t been to For Pets Sake before, you’ll need to visit us at 38 North Street with your dog before your first booking. We’ll meet your dog, get some details, and run through a short form with you.

Day care is available weekdays (and some Saturdays), for small dogs only. Pick-up is by 5.30pm – a late fee applies after that.

Your dog must be up to date with vaccinations and flea treatment, and be well socialised with other dogs. No overnight stays.

How to book:

1. Call us on 03 684 7006 to check availability and get your dog/s added to our schedule. Bookings are essential.
2. Choose your booking type:
   • Casual Visit – $40/day or $20/half day: For one-off bookings. Use the “Day Care Casual” or "Day Care Half Day" product.
   • Weekly Booking – $35/day: Ideal for dogs who come on set days each week. Use the “Day Care Subscription” product. You’ll be charged weekly starting from today. 
   If you have more than one dog, adjust the quantity in your cart accordingly.
3. If it’s your first visit: Pop in to see us at 38 North Street, Timaru with your dog/s. You’ll need to complete a form and have a quick chat with us before your dog can attend day care.
